Mid Week Ladies

Campbells Bay has a strong mid week ladies division with competition for all levels of tennis. New members are most welcome to join all year round. We are also active during the winter season, with many teams choosing to play indoors while some interclub members prefer to keep playing outdoors socially. We have an active group of 100 members with all age groups well represented. The Ladies Committee organizes many social events and tournaments at the club and other venues. The social life is very active and we also do fundraising for some local charities. Our location in Centennial Park is unique and safe. A sandpit is available to entertain preschoolers. There is plenty of accessible parking by the clubhouse.

Club Day

Organised tennis is available every Wednesday morning from 9.00 to 11.30 am. Morning tea/coffee is provided. Different in-house tournaments are staged during the year. The JUNE HARRIS CUP is played in May.

The GLENDA ROWE CUP, our traditional "costumed" winter tournament, is  held in June.  

The WORTHINGTON CUP is held in  November.  Prize giving is held during our traditional Christmas lunch at the beginning of December.  Friends and past members of the club are always welcome to this gourmet lunch catered in-house by the Mid-week ladies committee.

Interclub

We usually enter around a dozen teams for the season including a Monday team consisting of beginners.  Trials are held over a period of time for the more advanced players and the Selection Committee works hard to organize everyone before October.
